Case Report
A 12-year-old adolescent boy presented with delayed median and ulnar nerve palsy following nailing for midshaft both-bone forearm fractures. Electromyography nerve conduction velocity studies confirmed median and ulnar nerve compression at the fracture site. Surgical exploration revealed an intact median nerve with adhesions and an ulnar nerve neuroma requiring sural nerve grafting. Postoperatively, the patient achieved significant sensory recovery and intrinsic muscle strength within 6 months, with full recovery at 1 year./r/nThis case highlights a unique finding of delayed simultaneous median and ulnar nerve palsy following pediatric forearm fractures, emphasizing early recognition and tailored surgical intervention to ensure optimal functional recovery.
